The tracks Politics, Policy and Societal Development and Organizing for Global Social Challenge, were part of the Master Experience Days 2022.

The Master Global Management of Social Issues has two tracks: Politics, Policy and Societal Development and Organizing for Global Social Challenge.

Politics, Policy and Societal Development is about becoming an expert in sustainable development in an international context by addressing global societal challenges. You acquire a macro- and meso-level perspective on sustainable development with a focus on social and economic drivers and motives. You translate important societal questions into sociological research to evaluate policies and to serve as input for new policies.

Organizing for Global Social Challenge is about becoming an expert in sustainable development in an international context, by addressing global societal challenges such as poverty, inequality, migration, climate change, environmental degradation, or humanitarian interventions after a natural disaster. Consider the role of organizations and businesses can play in tackling global societal challenges through different interventions.
